MIAMI (UPI) - Survivors of a 1972 Florida airplane crash that killed 101 passengers say they're gathering to mark the 37th anniversary of the disaster.

The survivors, who were set to meet Tuesday night at a restaurant near Miami International Airport, are getting together for the first time since the Dec. 29, 1972, crash of Eastern Airlines Flight 401 into the Everglades, The Miami Herald reported.

Among those attending will be flight attendants Mercy Ruiz and Beverly Raposa and passengers Ron Infantino and Jan Coviello, all of whom are from South Florida.
