Man injured when shots fired in Crystal River PDF Print E-mail

Citrus County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating shots fired at  12:06 p.m. today at 2790 N. Reynolds Ave. in Crystal River.

During the incident, a 30-year-old man was struck by a bullet and was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital.

The unidentified victim, who lists his address as in Jacksonville, has been of late been staying at several locations around Citrus County.

Richard Carroll, 41, has been identified as the shooter.  The shots fired were at his North Reynolds Avenue residence.
 
Detectives are still on scene.  Their investigation is open and active.  No charges have been filed at this time.
