On Monday, the Citrus County Road Maintenance Division will begin vegetation maintenance on Croft Avenue, and it is asking the motoring public to exercise caution when driving on the road.
The work is part of the continuing efforts to meet the recommendations of a state Road Safety Audit.
Motorists should use caution and be ready to stop for crews and equipment on the road. Vehicles using Croft could be subject to delays as the construction/maintenance crews perform the tree trimming and removal work, and the division is asking motorist to have patience and be alert during the project.
The work should be completed in about two weeks. Questions should be directed to the county Road Maintenance Office at 527-7610 during office hours.
