The second Citrus County Commission meeting for December will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the courthouse in Inverness.
The commission meetings for December were changed from the regular days on the second and fourth Tuesdays because of the holidays.
Topics under consideration at the Dec. 15 meeting include:
- Discussion of additional water conservation efforts in Sugarmill Woods
- A public hearing on the 2010 Limerock Paving Program
- A public hearing to discuss and take public input regarding revisions to the county's alcoholic beverage ordinance
- The Florida Department of Transportation Five-Year Work Program for Citrus County
- A public hearing on a 190-foot tower proposed for Citrus Springs Unit 4
- A public hearing to amend the land development code to repeal the Progress Energy’s five-mile development limitation

The next regular commission meeting after Tuesday's meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 13, when meetings go back to the regular schedule of the second and fourth Tuesdays, with land use hearings on the second Tuesday. The agenda deadline for that Jan. 13 meeting is Jan. 2.
