Repaving work at the east end of Ozello Trail will start on Monday morning at 8.
The repaving project will be done during the daytime, and motorists
should expect to encounter a flagman and lane closures resulting in
some delays on that segment of road for the four days or so it will
take to mill and repave the road.
The project is one of the 10 federal stimulus road repaving projects the county commission secured under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The Ozello project was paired with another, the repaving the east end of Ft. Island Trail (County Road 44), under a $461,000 combined project being done by the local firm D.A.B. Contructors.
Another stimulus repaving project, Halls River Road (from Halls River Bridge to Fishbowl Drive), which is being done by Pave-Rite, could start next week. County officials are expecting to get a start date from the contractor by early in the week.
