The Citrus County Fleet Maintenance Division has taken on its own cardboard recycling program.

In the photo at right, Section Chief John "Buddy" Crump deposits cardboard in a recycling container in Lecanto.

Using the model that civic groups use to help recycle and raise funds (80 percent of the recycling proceeds go to the organization, 20 percent to the county), the division is donating the proceeds it will get to Jessie's Place, a center for victims of child abuse or neglect.
